Teresa Pullano is currently Assistant Professor of European Studies at the Institute for European Global Studies and at the Law Faculty of the University of Basel. Her areas of expertise are EU citizenship and free movement law and policies, as well as political theory, philosophy of law and theory of the State. She has an interdisciplinary background in political science and philosophy, combined with law and sociology. She is the author of the monograph La citoyenneté européenne: un espace quasi-étatique (Paris: Presses de Sciences Po, 2014). Previous to her current position, she was Marie Curie IEF fellow at the University of Brussels, Fulbright-Schuman postdoctoral fellow at Columbia University in New York and research fellow at Sciences Po in Paris.
