Tom Casier is Academic Director of the Brussels School of International Studies of the University of Kent. He is Reader in International Relations and Jean Monnet Chair. He is also Visiting Professor at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven). His main research interests are EU-Russia relations and Russian foreign policy, with a particular interest in energy, power and identity. Tom Casier recently completed a Jean Monnet multilateral research project on EU-Russia relations, with the University of Carleton, St. Petersburg State University and Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. He has published in Geopolitics, International Politics, Acta Politica, Europe-Asia Studies, Democratization, Contemporary Politics and other journals. Tom Casier regularly provides policy advice for different institutions and organisations.
